Dr. Joey Shelton

Dr. Joey Shelton serves as TriVector Services’ Chief Technical Officer. In this role, Dr. Shelton is responsible for evaluating customer needs and assigning TriVector’s capabilities to meet them.

Dr. Shelton also served the United States Government for 13 years in key technical and strategic roles in the development and deployment of NASA’s International Space Station, and Exploration Mission Directorate Launch Systems, Upper Stage Element Office. He has supported efforts at all levels of NASA including international space agency coordination and Congressional interactions regarding agency space policy, as well as focused academic research in thermodynamic heat transfer, propulsion system modeling and simulations.

In 2005, he received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville; in 2001 a M.S.E., in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville; in 1990 a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University.
